The Beautiful Brady Family

A few months ago I had the opportunity to photograph the gorgeous Brady family from El Dorado Hills. Yes, I know, I said a few months ago. Things have been a bit hectic but there was no way I was going to not post something about this wonderful family.

I was so happy Mariann suggested Governors Park in El Dorado Hills. It sure was a hidden gem of a park to take photos and can't wait to use it again in the future for sessions. Most importantly however, was the Brady family who were the icing on the cake at this park. Kaden and his sisters Ava and Mia are triplets who all have varying levels of special needs.  They had such a great time running around the park, playing with bubbles, and the girls loved the cute pink parasol I brought for photos. Ethan and Mariann are such wonderful parents and have the ability to go with the flow with such ease. They and I moved around the park and while they kept the kids grounded, I snapped away. I want to thank them for allowing me to capture their amazing family on film. I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the session.

Nicholas Inspires Others

A dear friend of ours who was Nicholas' tutor for his ABA program for four years from age 3years old until he was seven, took this beautiful photo of Nicholas. She was inpsired by our boy and she dreamed of opening a photography business and naming it after Nicholas. Several years ago she made her dreams come true and opened Jordanicholas Photography. She takes wonderful and beautiful photos and this one she captured of Nicholas on one of her visits to our house. We are blessed to have her in our life and so proud that Nicholas has inspired her to become an amazing photographer.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Today I am so thankful for my amazing family and friends who have supported me and been behind me every step of the way while I created Corinne Michele Photography. Especially to my family who had to endure many "mommy is not home" moments while I did photo shoots and was in school. Today we spend a quite day with our family and my mom. I look forward to playing games, lot's of laughter and great food of course. I hope your holidays are spent with those you love making memories that will last forever.

Beautiful Maggie

I was so honored to photograph the most beautiful little girl Maggie over the past weekend. I am friends with her mother Jaime and we have such an amazing bond due to the special lives of our children. When I mentioned to Jaime that I am starting my own photography business focusing on children with special needs and their families, Jaime's eyes lit up. She re-affirmed my thoughts about starting a business like this. She said she hasn't heard of anyone in the area doing such a thing and there is a need for it.

People like Jaime and myself and so many others with children like my Nicholas and her Maggie don't feel comfortable going to "Picture People" with our special children. It is awkward and most commonly uncomfortable. The photographers don't understand that our children have sensory issues or quirky habits or special equipment to help them get around or even to help them breathe. It is a whole different world we live in and I am not by far saying that I understand it all. I am just saying I understand that the life with a special needs child is very different than the typical life of a child in an average household in America. My love for photography and for my most amazing son Nicholas sparked my desire to start my business.

My photo sessions are held where the families and children I photograph are most comfortable. If that is the child's bedroom or their backyard then so be it. That is just how we took Maggie's pictures. She was in her backyard, with her family, playing with toys she liked and I just followed her cue. We played music and she moved from place to place. She is an amazing little girl and she had a great time with her family and siblings. My favorite part of the session was watching Maggie play with her mom's anniversary balloon. She just loved that balloon and watching her play with it in the sunlight was simply perfect.

Thanks to Tim and Jaime Escobar for welcoming me into their home to share these private moments with their family and most importantly for allowing me to photograph their beautiful Maggie.

Nicholas

Well what can I say. I am a bit biased but I think this is the most amazing photo I have taken of my beautiful boy Nicholas. It is rare to catch a smile with my camera, although there are a ton of them. However, capturing the beauty of his innocence and gorgeous eyes is always my hope and it isn't too difficult. Here he was in deep thought one afternoon. He was happily playing with his toys and didn't seem to mind me circling around him trying to capture that one moment that would forever mark this day in time. I love my son more than he could ever imagine and I was so happy to catch this beautiful moment of him taking a break from his toys for just one second.
